ABOUT US
Our Mission, as not for profit community organizations working cooperatively to serve the Greater Cleveland community:
- To promote and encourage participation in the sport of dragon boat racing.
- To provide a social and recreational opportunity for residents of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
- To increase awareness of Asian culture and the Asian community among greater Clevelanders.
- To offer a recreational team building opportunity for participating companies and organizations.
- To raise funds for the Youth Rowing Program administered by The Cleveland Rowing Foundation and general support for programs administered by Asian Services in Action.
Our Goal:
- Our Goal: To relax; enjoy the company of family, friends and other Greater Clevelanders, bask in the smell and sounds of a variety of Asian foods, cultures and the atmosphere of the Flats, and; to have fun!

The Flats Oxbow Association
The Mission of The Flats Oxbow Association is to:
- provide a forum and be the unifying force to both identify and effectively represent the common interests of all "stakeholders" in the Flats.
- to identify and assist in resolving conflicts between various stakeholders, in order to channel the intense involvement in the area by government and outside investment interests in a manner consistent with the interests of the stakeholders as responsible citizens of the Flats.
The Organization's Objectives are to:
2) Represent the interests of private property as distinct from governmental "action" (e.g. eminent domain).
3) Occupy positions of influence in decision making for the area.
4) Obtain basic city services and improvements.
5) Create forums for identifying and resolving disputes among stakeholders.
6) Channel development along the general lines of the Long Range Development Plan, and amend the plan as deemed appropriate to promote the other listed objectives of the Association.
7) Obtain substantial funding and expand membership.
8) Be a central and open source for information and education concerning the Flats.
Cleveland Rowing Foundation
The Mission of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation is to Promote and Share the Athletic, Health,
Educational and Social Benefits of Rowing throughout Greater Cleveland and to Work in Concert with
our Community Partners to Enhance the Recreational Quality of the Cuyahoga River.
Asia Services in Action, Inc.
The ASIA Mission is to empower Asian American Pacific Islanders in Northeastern Ohio to access
quality, culturally, and linguistically appropriate information and services.
The ASIA Vision is to ensure that Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) in Northeastern Ohio will have equal access to information and quality services, and no disparities will exist.
AAPI issues and interests will be fully understood and incorporated into service plans of all major public agencies and community service providers in Northeast Ohio.
